A good year for the North Paulding Lady Wolfpack had one more positive end for their softball squad.
On Wednesday, Wolfpack Athletics celebrated the announcement of Maisie Hynninen as the 5-6A Coach of the Year for 2025.
She headed up a squad that went to Columbus this year to play in the state tournament, but fell short in the first round against Richmond Hill in the opening round, then Brookwood in the loser’s bracket trying to play back in for the title.
The Lady Wolfpack ended their season with a 24-10 record, finishing 14-4 in Region 5-6A in second place.
She’s headed up the program since the 2020 season and has thus far had a winning record every season, going undefeated in two of those seasons in region play.
