The Rebels have been hard to stop this season, and that remained the case on Friday night past as Haralson County topped Bremen in a 34-26 finish at home.
Bremen tried, but failed to catch up to Haralson in the Oct. 24 region matchup, allowing the Rebels to secure their third place spot in Region 6-A DI.
Rebels quarterback Paxton Ray went 3 of 6 for 137 yards and a touchdown during the rivalry matchup, with the man under center also netting the most yards on the ground with 35 carries for 178 yards and three touchdowns on the ground.
Sophomore Jax Brown also put in a good day’s work on the ground, rushing for 63 yards on 12 carries and a score for the Rebels.
Thacker Dudley did most of the work for the Blue Devils offense on the ground, putting up a two touchdown performance on nine carries and 25 yards.

The win for Haralson County put them at 7-3 on the season, a huge bounce back after a losing season in 2024. They’re on track to get into the running for the power rankings for the playoffs – currently sitting at third in region play behind a tied Pepperell and Heard County pair of squads that are going into the Halloween matchup for a region title.
Haralson sits at 21st in the rankings. The top 32 teams in the state will get to play in the Division I playoffs for Class A.
The Rebels are now done for the regular season and get a week off before the playoffs begin the first Friday of November.
Bremen sits in fourth in region play ahead of Temple. The Blue Devils still have Darlington to play to cap off their regular season this coming Friday night.
